This course will offer a focused study on issues of mental illness, emotional disturbance, and psychiatric crisis, and when and how we can help people in these critical times of need. Students will better understand the background and symptoms of mental illness, and the legal and social dynamics involved in care. Special focus will be on how the church can be a help to these suffering individuals.
