A Conversation with Rev. Célestin Musekura

On Saturday, Nov. 27, Rev. Célestin Musekura will be sharing about his missional work in East and Central Africa. Starting at 1 p.m., at 1776 Broadway, Dr. Musekura will speak about African Leadership and Reconciliation Ministries (ALARM), a ministry he founded in the aftermath of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda. ALARM equips church leaders, pastors, and Christian professionals to address the issues of nominal Christianity, ethnic violence and tribalism in East and Central Africa, and helps train them in biblical servant leadership, peacebuilding, conflict resolution, mediation, forgiveness, and reconciliation. Dr. Musekura spends part of his time in the US raising funds to support the work of ALARM and spends the rest of his time in East and Central Africa training and equipping Christian leaders.
