The World

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Matthew 5:16

Do you want to share the love of Jesus with others? Have you considered on going on a missionary journey with Calvary? Throughout the year we have a number of opportunities for you to use your physical skills and spiritual gifts to benefit others. Look below to learn about the global missions opportunities available to you.

Brazil: Calvary serves the people of Brazil through a partnership with Child Evangelism Fellowship and Charity Bethel International, known as Betelife. Betelife was founded by Calvary member and Brazil native Celia McLellan and grew out of a desire to follow Christ's example of caring for those in need. Each year Calvary commissions teams to assist CEF and Betelife with education and evangelism.

Haiti: With an estimated population of just over 10 million, the Caribbean island country of Haiti was devastated by a 2008 hurricane that killed thousands and destroyed untold buildings and homes. Calvary has been actively serving the Haitian people since the hurricane, assisted by Calvary member Islande Dupoux, a Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, native. Through a partnership with Child Evangelism Fellowship and local Haitian churches, Calvary commissions teams and resources to the area throughout the year.

South Sudan: We are passionate about serving those in spiritual and physical need in South Sudan and other countries in central and east Africa. We are thankful for our partnership with African Leadership and Reconciliation Ministries, or ALARM, who develop and equip local pastors and leaders, reconcile relationships, and transform communities.
