The Nation

For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

Galatians 5:13

While we find it immensely important to serve our brothers and sisters in New York City, we are passionate about reaching people in other regions of the United States in any way possible. Through our National missions outreach we seek to empower God’s people not only in New York City but also throughout America. Take a moment and explore our National service opportunities below.

Detroit, Michigan: Under the leadership of church lay leader Bob Chancia, Calvary has fostered a partnership with Citadel of Faith Church over the last five years, and City Covenant Church for the last two years. Both churches are in the heart of inner city Detroit and are working to meet the spiritual and physical needs of the community. Annually, Calvary commissions teams to help with hosting Vacation Bible School events, to participate in neighborhood cleanup and construction activities, to bless those in need through food distribution, and to engage the community in prayer and evangelism campaigns.

Mississippi: Under the leadership of church lay leader Dr. Mildred Clarke, Calvary has been ministering in the rural Mississippi Delta for over 10 years. Focused mainly in the Clarksdale and Glendora areas, throughout the year Calvary commissions medical teams, construction teams, and education teams to the area.
