September Fellowship Fund: Hurricane Harvey Relief

UPDATE: Praise God! Calvary Baptist Church gave $15,000 towards Hurricane Relief efforts.

Calvary’s September Fellowship Fund is focused on supporting Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. Not since Superstorm Sandy in October 2012 has the United States seen such a historic storm as Hurricane Harvey. Calvary is partnering with two relief ministries (Staten Island’s New Dorp Baptist Church and Calvary Relief Ministries) to bear burdens, advance the Gospel message, and glorify God along the Gulf Coast. This is best accomplished through faithful prayer for those in peril, hands-on assistance, and your sacrificial giving. Our partnership will physically and financially assist The Gathering, a church in Baytown, Texas, who has parishioners on the front-lines of recovery work.

Anyone interested in participating in a relief mission trip, organized and led by the New Dorp Baptist Church ministry team, should contact Rev. Tom Basile at (646) 327-5669.

If you feel led to give to the September Fellowship Fund, visit the GIVING tab of our website and click “Give Online.” Select “Designated Fellowship” when asked to designate your gift. Call (212) 975-0170 with any questions related to online giving. You may also give at our Sunday Worship Services; please designate “Hurricane Relief” on the memo line.
