Easter at Calvary

Our Easter celebration begins on Good Friday, April 14, with a noonday service. All are encouraged to join us on their lunch break as we mark, with great reverence, the death of Jesus Christ on our behalf. This special midday service will welcome the Calvary family and the local community for a time of prayer, worship, and scriptural reflection in the Sanctuary.

On the evening of Good Friday, April 14, our Worship Ministry will host its annual Tenebrae Concert. The Calvary Choir will be performing Lani Smith's "Stations of the Cross, a Cantata for Holy Week." Concert begins at 7:30 p.m., and is open to all, no tickets required.

Join us Easter Sunday, April 15, as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. There will be identical worship services at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. with music led by the Calvary Choir, accompanied by brass and percussion and the Calvary Handbell Choir.

On Easter Sunday the Calvary Nursery will be available for infants and children up to 23-months-old during both services, 9 and 11 a.m. However, there will be NO other children's programming during the 9 a.m. service. All Calvary Kids and CBC visitors (potty-trained 2-years-olds through grade 7) are invited to the Children’s Easter Rally during the 11 a.m. service. The doors will open for check-in on the 5th floor at 10:30 a.m.

Volunteer at Easter: Get involved during one of the most exciting times of the year. Many first-time guests will join us for Easter, thank you in advance for helping make them feel welcome.
