605 Teaching the First Principles

The overall objective of this course is to gain insight into the nature of the “first principles of Christ” and the utility of a biblical theology approach in establishing believers in the faith, while developing practical skills in leading small groups to think biblically by means of a serious ordered learning process designed for church-based discipleship.

 

606 The First Principles: Following Jesus into His New Community

The overall objective of this course is to introduce the First Principles Series One as a tool for basic discipleship.  Series One covers the beginnings of personal faith and carefully lays a foundation for growth.  Both new and seasoned believers will benefit from its clear teaching.  Students will develop their own core convictions rooted in the first principles of the faith, community life, community purpose, and disciplined living and a strategy to apply those principles as a disciple.

NOTE:  This is a 3-hour course and thus, the cost of the course is $145.

 

607 The First Principles: Building Strong Households of Faith

The overall objective of this course builds on the First Principles Series One as a tool for basic discipleship.  Series Two presents the biblical wisdom necessary for a fruitful lifework, marriage, and family.  Student will develop their own core convictions rooted in the first principles concerning marriage, family life, ministry, and true success.  Student will also develop strategies for managing these aspects of life rooted in their core convictions.

NOTE:  This is a 3-hour course and thus, the cost of the course is $145

 

608 The First Principles: Disciplined Bible Study in the ‘Way of Christ and the Apostles’

The overall objective of this course continues to build on First Principles Series One and Two as a tool for basic discipleship.  Series Three initiates students into an ordered study of the Bible.  The series teaches the essential skills for being a lifelong student of the Word of God, while revisiting the core first principles in four New Testament books.  Student will develop their own core convictions of first principles in Acts and gain a sense of the plan of Christ centered on the local church.

NOTE:  This is a 3-hour course and thus, the cost of the course is $145.

 

609 The First Principles: Establishing Churches in the ‘Way of Christ and the Apostles’

The overall objective of this course continues to build on First Principles One and Two as a tool for basic discipleship.  Series Three initiates students into an ordered study of the Bible.  The series teaches the essential skills for being a lifelong student of the Word of God, while revisiting the core first principles in four New Testament books.  Student will develop their own core convictions of first principles in one of each of Paul’s early, middle, and later letters in order to develop competency in grasping a pattern for establishing churches and evaluating how well a church is established and what to do next in that process.

NOTE:  This is a 3-hour course and thus, the cost of the course is $145.

 

610 Acts: Keys to the Establishment and Expansion of the Church

The overall objective of this course is to determine the fundamental Biblical principles regarding the mission of the Church and its role in missions, and for developing guidelines and strategies for a local church's participation in the Gospel.

611 Pauline Epistles: Strategies for Establishing Churches

The overall objective of this course is to determine the fundamental Biblical principles for growing and strengthening (establishing) a church to maturity and developing a strategy for implementing the Biblical forms and functions of a church necessary for making and keeping it strong.

612 Essentials of Sound Doctrine: Strategies for Establishing Believers in the Faith

The overall objective of this course is to build a contemporary didache—an early church manual used to establish believers in the essentials of the apostles' teaching.  This contemporary didache must be founded solidly upon the faith delivered by the apostles, seasoned by the historical effort of the Church, and eminently relevant to our present cultural situations.

623 Leaders and the Early Church: Strategies for Training Local Church Leaders

The overall objective of this course is to bring leadership back to the center of the local church in a way that will empower churches to participate in the expansion of the Gospel with the same vision and effectiveness as the first church at Antioch.
