Pastor Quinlan began attending Calvary in early 1980, and he began his full-time ministry in 1982 with Youth For Christ. In addition to evangelizing teens, he equipped churches with resources and training and led city-wide conferences and youth rallies. While serving YFC/USA he was part of a team that trained all full-time YFC urban staff members.
For almost ten years he taught evangelistic seminars for the International Bible Society, encouraging believers to "love their neighbors to life" and to be "contagious Christians".
Throughout his ministry Sean has ministered across cultural lines, working with Asians, Black Americans, Hispanics and messianic believers. He has preached in English and in Spanish in Canada, Latvia, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Guatemala, and Spain. Mostly, Sean enjoys cross-cultural ministry for its diversity of food.
In 1986, Sean married his best friend, Beverly, and they have two children, Ian and Caitlin.
