Israel’s ancient songbook, the Psalter, helped to define the people of God, communicate the heart of God and instill passion for the purposes of God. Throughout the centuries since, this collection of poetic literature has and continues to deeply impact the community of faith. This summer, as the spiritual heirs of this community, we will seek to study this compilation critically, understand it reflectively and apply it Christotelically as God’s people who long to understand His heart and yearn after His purposes.
