Michael Luciano, a native New Yorker, sensed the inward call to fulltime Christian service in NYC at the age of twelve. This inward desire has since been strengthened with the outward confirmation of friends, family, and the people of God, as Michael has ministered in the body of Christ.
From 1999-2000, Michael attended Word of Life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake, New York. He then went on to Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois where he graduated with a B.A. in Pastoral Studies in 2003. After graduation from Moody, Michael interned at New Dorp Baptist Church and Christian Academy in Staten Island as a Youth Pastor and Bible teacher. Michael received his Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary in May 2007, and during his summer breaks from DTS, Michael ministered at Calvary serving in the NYSB, Outreach, and Young Adult Ministries.
Michael’s ministry experiences in Chicago, Dallas, and New York also include evangelism, homeless ministries, preaching, teaching, and counseling. He has a passion to exposit the Word of God and believes that joining the staff at Calvary is an answer to prayer and a testament to the faithfulness of the Triune God.
Michael married his college sweetheart, Mandy, in December 2003. They currently live in Staten Island, where Mandy is a kindergarten teacher. The couple enjoys camping, eating out, and rooting for the Giants and Yankees.
