I was born into a Christian family (in New England) and was led to Christ at the age of four by my mother who is still teaching children at church. While in junior high, I committed my life to serving the Lord. In preparation for this, I graduated from Nyack College (Rockland Campus) in May, 1972, and was married the following Saturday to Shirley (we met at Nyack). Our son, Steven, was born in April, 1975 and our daughter, Tanya, was born in October, 1978. In 1975, I graduated from the Denver Seminary and have been serving in full-time ministry ever since:
- Pastored a small rural church in Ohio (1975 – 1978)
- Attended CEF’s Children’s Ministry Institute® (Fall 1978)
- Served as Director with Child Evangelism Fellowship® (CEF®) of Massachusetts while living in Boston (1978-1998)
- Part-time Associate Pastor of Education at First Baptist Church (Weymouth, MA)(1993 – 1996)
- Executive Director CEF Greater New York City Area since January 1, 1999
Teach regularly at New York School of the Bible and have taught two courses at Nyack College (Manhattan Campus) as an adjunct professor
