A native Texan, Stace Gaddy lives in Manhattan and works as a performer, director/producer, and instructor in theatre, music, media, and church ministry. Gaddy has been on the Calvary team since 1997.  Currently, he is the Director of Music & Media.  Along side leading the Music Ministry, Gaddy produces and hosts the long-running radio programs “Tell It From Calvary” and “The Calvary Hour,” which feature the fantastic teaching and preaching of Pastor David Epstein.  Gaddy is also privileged to be an Adjunct Professor in the Music Department of Nyack College, Manhattan Campus. 
 
In related fields, Gaddy has also served as the Development Director for Promise Productions of Fort Worth, where he revised the corporate mission plan to establish the direction of future development, production, and distribution of new creative properties for stage, TV/film, and radio.
 
Prior to that, Gaddy served as Director of the A.D. Players Theatre Arts Academy in Houston, where he managed all administrative/educational aspects of the academy.  There, he taught Playwriting, Creative Drama, and Pro-Seminar for the Young Actor.  In addition, Gaddy has five years of university teaching experience, as an instructor for Acting, Voice and Movement, Introduction to Theatre, and Humanities.

Gaddy was also honored to be the Production Manager of the well-known Southern Illinois University Playwright's Workshop where he directed a one-hundred-member production team and supervised the productions of several original, full-length plays. 
 
A member of the Actors' Equity Association, Gaddy has been blessed with over 50 professional performance credits ranging from national and international tours to regional and Off-Broadway theatrical work to concert performances at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall, Alice Tully Hall, as well as Carnegie Hall.
 
Gaddy is also an accomplished writer/composer and director/conductor.  His original plays and musicals have enjoyed successful runs in Houston, Chicago, and Off-Broadway, and he has conducted several classical and sacred choral/orchestral concerts at various venues in NYC.
    
Gaddy received his B.A. in Theatre/English (magna cum laude) and his M.A. in Theatre History / Dramatic Theory & Analysis / Music from Texas State University, and his Ph.D. in Speech Communication from Southern Illinois University.  Among his many academic honors, Gaddy was a Doctoral Fellow, is a lifetime member of the Golden Key National Honor Society, and both a music and theater scholarship recipient.  Gaddy was an Irene Ryan Competition nominee in 1991 and 1992, and was a semi-finalist in the competition in 1992.
