820  Christian Thearter and Film: Script Development
This portion of the program will focus on the creative process from the initial development phase of raw ideas to final text polishing. Attention will be paid to themes, dialog, character development, the hook, conflict, humor, text and sub-text, purpose, taboo, and rewriting. The class will also address copyright issues, Writer's Guild Association memberbership, the Library of Congress, final draft formatting, the art of collaborative writing, and other topics.

821  Christian Theater and Film:  Acting
This portion of the program will focus on the audition process, the use of sides, casting directors, screen-tests, headshots, interviews, etc. It will explore and differentiate between film acting and stage acting. Attention will be given to the rehearsal process, "cheating" and upstaging, rehearsal scene efficiency checklists, the Chritian actor, Christian versus non-Christian environment, and other topics.

822  Christian Theater and Film:  The Technical Dimension
This portion of the program will focus on stage management, costumes, makeup, hair, set design, lighting and sound for both stage and film, the role of the director, 1st AD (assistant director), cinematographers, boom operators, gaffers, storyboarding, continuity, film editing, first aid kits and safety, etc.

823  Christian Theater and Film:  Production
This portion of the program will focus on the following: the producer, the handling of finances, talent, investors, budgeting, unions and guilds, extras, putting together a team, pre-screenings, errors and omissions, workman's comp, catering, insurance, cast breakdowns, release forms, types of companies, distributions, film festivals, rentals, etc.
