Virtual Women's Fellowship & Mini Retreat

July's Virtual Women's Fellowship will be a Mini Retreat!

This Sunday, July 12, at 1 p.m. is our next Virtual Women's Retreat. Sandy Epstein is our guest speaker and will speak on being a "Fierce Listener." Invite your friends and join us for a chance to see each other and talk with one another over Zoom, and pretend we're at our Annual Retreat at Tuscarora Inn. We'll even have a fun retreat skit to share!

Sandy Epstein became a believer in Jesus in high school and has been growing continually in her faith and ministry since that time. She has served alongside her husband, David, in five churches over 48 years. David was Senior Pastor of Calvary for over 21 years. Sandy has many interests but chief among them is ministering to women.

You can join by Zoom, either by calling in on your phone or using the link on a laptop or tablet to combine video and audio. The link is below, along with instructions about how to access Zoom.

If this is the first time you use zoom, it will ask you if it can download and install something. You will get a screen, click “download and run zoom”.

This will be done by your own computer, same as downloading any other software. You just need to answer the questions that come up.

Whether or not you had to download, you’ll end up on a page asking if you want to connect using computer audio. Choose this option unless you know better.

You should end up on a page with a row of symbols (probably a bar at the bottom of a window).

  •    If there is a picture of a microphone, click to mute or unmute.
  •    If there is a picture of a video display, click to turn your video on or off.
