483 The Bible, My Faith, and Social Justice
The old saying is that we are spiritual beings living a human experience. As Christians, we seek to live out divine values in a world that is juxtaposed to such and is mired in conflict and chaos. Abortion, climate change, the prison industrial complex, racial injustice, income inequality, questions about policing—these are just some of the issues we face as we attempt to live between Genesis and Revelation. We are charged to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly before God. This course will observe “thus sayeth the Lord” in a world that cries out for social justice.
